Drug Testing Methods
Our drug screening process can check for illegal drugs, prescription drugs as well as non-prescription drugs, including tobacco use. Saliva (Oral Fluid) Drug Tests
As a non-invasive form of drug testing or nicotine testing, saliva specimens can be collected quickly and virtually anywhere and anytime. Results from saliva drug tests are provided within 2-3 business days. Positive test results must be confirmed by our labs and generally takes an additional 3 days. Test results for nicotine use, when collected by oral fluid, take approximately 10 business days.
Urine Drug Testing
A urine drug test is best performed for quick results for the most common types of drug use. When performed at our facility, screen results are generally available the day after the specimen is collection. If a positive screen results, specimens will need to be confirmed for up to an additional 2-3 business days after the screen in completed. Urine drug tests are best for individuals needing tested for potential use within the last 30 days.
Hair Drug Testing
This drug testing method requires the collection of a small sample of hair from the individual. Hair is collected from several small, inconspicuous spots on the head, or in some instances, from body hair. The window of detection for this test is up to 90 days, although with body hair the detection window is usually narrower. Once a hair test is performed, the drug screen results are available within 2-3 business days.
